Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 19, 2025
LastDraft ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. Our philosophy is simple: your writing belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the LastDraft application.
Core Principle: LastDraft is a "Local First" application. Your poems and drafts are stored locally on your device using SQLite database technology. We do not automatically sync your content to a cloud server.
1. Information We Collect
- Local Content: The text, poems, and drafts you create are stored exclusively on your device's internal storage.
- Application Preferences: We use local storage (SharedPreferences) to save your theme settings (e.g., Light, Dark, Purple Rain) and accessibility preferences (e.g., OpenDyslexic font toggles).
- Account Information (Optional): If you choose to sign in using a third-party provider (such as Google), we may collect your email address and basic profile information solely for authentication purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the distraction-free writing environment.
- Persist your drafts and edits across sessions.
- Maintain your chosen accessibility settings (font size, high contrast mode).
3. Data Sharing and Export
We do not sell your personal data. Your data only leaves your device if you explicitly choose to share it using the app's "Export" or "Share" features (e.g., sharing a poem as an image or plain text).
4. Google User Data (Limited Use Policy)
If you access LastDraft using a Google Account, our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Contact Us
If you have questions about this policy or your data, please contact us at support@lastdraft.mp.ls.
